NEET (UG)
NEET (UG) is one of the toughest medical entrance examinations conducted in India. National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET)is conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA) for admission to undergraduate (MBBS/BDS/Ayush Courses) every year. As per Government of India, it is a mandated requirement to qualify NEET Exam to study medical courses in India and abroad. The single national level undergraduate medical entrance exam, NEET held every year for admission to 542 medical, 313 dental, 914 AYUSH, and 47 BVSc and AH colleges in India.
The languages in which the NEET (UG) 2021 would be conducted are : English, Hindi, Assamese, Bengali, Gujarati, Kannada, Malayalam, Marathi, Odia, Punjabi, Tamil, Telugu, and Urdu.
NEET-UG is a sole entrance test for admissions to higher than 66,000 MBBS and BDS seats in India. The National Testing Agency (NTA) has been established the nodal agency for control of all India competitive exams and conducts NEET (UG) from 2019. The Central Board of Secondary Education conducted NEET between 2013 and 2018 before the framework of NTA.
This Exam held in several languages as in Assamese, Bengali, English, Gujarati, Hindi, Kannada, Marathi, Oriya,Tamil,Telugu and Urdu. Duration of exam is 3 hours and held in once a year.
There are 180 Question in the examination, 45 questions from Physics, Chemistry, & Biology. Each correct answer earns 4 marks and each incorrect answer gets -1 negative marking.
NEET syllabus dwells of the root conceptions of Physics, Chemistry and Biology taught in classes 11 and 12 as recommended by the NCERT.
NEET Eligibility
The National Eligibility cum Entrance Examination is the only medical entrance examination in India to fill all the medical seats in India which includes the admissions to AIIMS and JIPMER, and also to the admissions of medical courses abroad. To be qualified for the NEET examination, a student must be at least 17 years of age. Besides, the students must also score a total of at least 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology.

Exam Pattern and Structure
There has been a substantial change to the question paper’s format since 2021. The most recent format has two portions for each of the four subjects—physics, chemistry, botany, and zoology—designated as A and B. There are a total of 200 questions altogether—180 of which can be answered—because Section A has 35 required questions and Section B has 15 questions, of which 10 must be answered.
